Can't Feel a Thing

by Ashley   Jan 14, 2006

The claw digs in.
rough,
painful,
sickening.

The blood flows out.
warm,
wet,
shimmering.

The wind blows in.
cold,
bitter,
tingling.

And now I can't feel a thing.

The eyes were closed.
dark,
black,
unseeing.

The hit was taken.
hard,
tough,
bleeding.

The fall was fast.
down,
unexpected,
dizzying.

And now I can't feel a thing.

The words were bad.
scary,
hurtful,
heartbreaking.

The surprise was mad.
insane,
unwanted,
breathtaking.

The hurt and pain.
break-up,
cry,
murdering.

You killed me inside,
And now I can't feel a thing.
