I agree with this poem sooo much and it just shows u how it iz...well i wrote a new poem called "stupid marco" and you'll c what i mean...well read it and you'll find out da whole story

And ppl I aint usually like this, I aint racist, I mean I work with alot of ppl with different cultures and backgrounds, I even date them, again I dont have a problem, ppl are ppl....but this girl here talkin a lot of s8h8i8t about my race...trying to act like we below her or something and I aint gonna stand for that...sry if I offended anyone.

Ok girl who decides when there's ENOUGH spanish poems? YOU!?!?!?! I kno good and well that not everyone in this site is spanish, but I write them so that the ppl that do speak spanish can rate them...and the comment that you left me wasnt critizising the POEM, but the fact that it was in spanish...So dont try to change it now...and mamita you watch too much T.V. not every spanish person out there is a drop out or short or fat.I am almost 100% sure that you are white, and I c UR race under brigdes, fat, ugly and they dont even take showers. Half their teeth is always missing...girl dont even get me started. For your info, Im 5'7" and Im attending college, I am Head of The Resource Department in a major company, and I make about 3.5 g's a month, oh and mind you I am only 20....Oh and yeah I had a baby when I was 17 and u kno what I loved it and I always wanted one that young cus when ya have ya kids at 40 or 45 ya look like grandparents not parents...and then your stuck the rest of ur life takin care of ur kids. Sry ma but I dont see myself 50 and with a 5 year old. By the time I am 36 or 37 my girl will be all grown up and Imma have the rest of my life to do my own thing...And ya might not have kids at a young age like u say, but ya be doing it way b4 anyone else...and when ya do get pregnant ya first option is to have an abortion...You kno I dont have to explain this but its just the fact that u wanna decide in what way I could write or not that I dont agree with. And this pathetic argument like you say, was started by you calling ME "puta" or do u 4get that? Is that critizism for my poetry? Is that a real poets point of view? I can take the critizism for a poem...it aint all that, the rhyming was off, all that, but when u try to diz me cus of my language...u stepping into hot water. Girl watever, just admitt, Im way better than you!!! And watever u say from this point on, will just prove that. U kno I aint even mad anymore...I just feel sry for u!!!

Hey, I know this is a long shot since this was written a looooong time ago, but I stumbled across this poem and would like to use it for a unit I am teaching on racism and the school-to-prison pipeline for my Spanish class. I wanted a poem written by a young person from their point of view, and I think this might be useful to start our discussion.
