I loved you,
You loved me,
But I'm afraid we can never be.

We lasted a long time,
Our love it entwine.
We made promises we swore to keep
But I've been faithful, you've been meek.

We swore not to cheat the first day we met,
I didn't do it but there you went.
You told me to give you a second time,
And there I go, giving you that chance.

Despite all the things I've been told,
I didn't believe them and didn't want to.
Yet love still grew bold.

Time went by,
You told me you couldn't lie.
There you go again,
I knew you were playing with my mind.

You told me some truth,
And I had no clue,
That this is what you did,
I shouldn't have given you that chance.

E-mailing you and got no answer,
Talking to you, just wasting my time.
Some people were right, I should have listened,
But now its to late, can't go back in time.

Although it may be to late,
And can't go back in time.
There's one thing I got to say,
