Im leaving now

by Lestat   Jan 14, 2006

5 Am still dark outside
Pack my bags, run and hide
Walking down the road
Rain soaking my clothes
Thinking Ive escaped
But i have nowhere to go
I start to run
I have to get away
Right now i don't care
If it takes a thousand days
I slip on the road
I'm engulfed in the rain
I look at my reflection in a puddle
See my eyes filled with pain
I start to crawl but People push me aside
And I'm shoved against a wall
Then i cant remember anymore
But i wake with no bags, broken and sore
They even took my old shirt
Maybe running away wasn't the solution
To ending my suffering and hurt
I return home
Back to the abuse
Ive come to the conclusion
That i have no use

Beautifully penned - try taking the That off of the last line - it will give it a lot more power . . other than that - awesome.

    Peace. [Sole]
