See that you Believe

I was standing there
Outside the glass window looking in
Wondering how your love
Could reach them
I watched the rain fall down
I hear your voice all around me
You told me to go and share
I said no one would care
But God, I'll go for you
I took a step inside
Trying not to hide
All they do is shove me
God, I know you still love me
Even when I feel like I've failed
Sometimes I feel like I'm locked up
And there is nothing I can do
To show them the light of you
I get this down feeling
Like I have nothing else to say
And that I've failed you
And today will just be another day
For me to make mistakes
And not have the words to say
I want to throw my life away
But you tell me
"There are times that it will hurt
And painful tears fill your eyes
They will act like you are dirt
But just because they
don't choose live for me
Doesn't mean you didn't do your job
You can only do so much
My child let me take the rest
Yes, I need your help
You are my disciple
But you can't MAKE anyone believe
It's their choice, and
my turn to call out to them
But you can make a change
You can make them think
And maybe you reached them
Even if they don't show it
So just keep it up and live for me
Sometimes that's all they need
Is just to see that you believe.

-this poem is about feeling like I fail God when I don't reach people with his love I look around and feel like I could do so much more but maybe that's not his will so I just do as much as I can and when I can't find the words to say out loud I pray for the people.
