White Rose

by Rican Chemistry   Jan 15, 2006

A white rose petal
That is my skin
Bruised by thorns
That is our sin
The feeling of dying
In ecstasy's hands
The hands of pleasure
That belong to her man
A stolen kiss
A borrowed heart
That tares my body
Sweetly apart
A mind so pure
And full of trust
Not noticing
Her husbands lust
But like a rose
Our love will die
And one day to your queen
You wont have to lie
I'm just a petal
In a garden full of love
And you're the gardener
That watches from above
I get used and abused
By loves cruel game
From here to there
Following your name
And like the petals in a rose
You are sure to let me fall
But for the moment I respond
To your loves midnight call

This is such a sweet piece. i'm still a little confused as to what it means tho. like, what does the white rose symbolize... besides ur skin? i really luv it though. u should get this published. there seems like there is a deep hidden meaning but i just can't figure it out. i luv it!

I love this poem. This is one of my favorite poems by you and it has a lot of meaning to it. It explains alot about being unloved and used by other people.
