The sad love story

The love we had you said would last
you'd never let it go
to break my heart and make me cry
was what i didn't know

one day I'm sitting in my room
just thinking about you
the future i thought that we could have
that day, would not come true

the phone rings and i pick it up
we hadn't talked all day
he didn't seem to talk that much
he'd been like that since may

My love for him just made me blind
I couldn't see the truth
It could be that hes cheating on me
but i didn't have no proof

the love we had i thought was strong
and my trust for him was high
but i asked him "are you cheating on me"
but there was no reply

My heart dropped down I couldn't breath
My eyes filled up with pain
"how the hell could you do that to me"
after all the love i drained?

" I locked my heart and gave you the key"
"You said you'd hold it tight"
"But you gave it to another girl"
"How could this be right?!"

...but no reply,yet no response
but he didn\'t hang up the phone
"I thought you said you loved me?"
" I thought our loved had grown?"

" I wanna die , i cant go on"
"Knowing i no longer have you"

But soon enough he hangs up the phone
letting his lies seep in through
knowing all the love she had for him
was all the love he knew

What would he do without her love
what would he do when she not there
she was all he had and all he wants
she didn't know how much her cared

She cried herself to sleep at night
thinking love had played a game
she fell for all its lies and tricks
And it led to all her shame

Her life now would not be the same
how would she love again?
so much betrayal and deceit
he was her best friend!

How would he go on...
knowing he had broke her heart
And how would he go on....
their souls would not depart

But they never talked again
with the love that they still had
broken hearts just never mend
and most love stories just end up bad
