I never thought that i would be the girl who waited by the phone
waiting for you to call
but alas i am

im sitting by the phone wishing it would just vibrate
...just this once...

it finally does
but it isnt you...i go back to waiting

are you mad?
or just busy?
are you ignoring me?
or just busy?

Is it normal to be this way?
waiting to see you name on the caller ID
will it ever appear?
or is it just a muse?

Do you like me?
and if you do
did i chase you away?
tell me please
and ill leave you alone

    Hey Christine, i like this poem because i can actually relate to this. Like when my boyfriend says I'll call you later or I'll call you right now I get ideas when he doesn't and time passes by like more than two hours or so and when the phone rings I get happy but It's not him! good job!
