Her Wonder

by Stefan   Jan 16, 2006

The morning light doth cling to her hair with the tender touch of lightest dew. Her eyes catch the sunlight and they sparkle with the brilliance of a thousand stars, an entire galaxy of thing which may be, things only dreamed of, and wonders no mortal ever knew.
She smiles a smile that is at once teasing, hinting, wondering, laughing, glowing.
When she walks she coaxes the world into vibrant life with a subtlety and grace that makes my heart leap in time with her every step.
To hear her speak is to listen to a chorus of angels, and to hear her sing is a gift from the gods themselves. No sparrow ever sung so sweetly, nor was any siren ever so tempting. She holds an entire universe of possibilities in front of her, and I would be lucky to be part of that universe for even a moment, for I would keep that moment kindled in my heart, and love would keep it burning for all eternity.
