BE STILL MY HEART

Be still my heart
for the journey your bound to take is never easy
its just a part
of the laughter and tears the first one has caused me

my heart be still for i just know
that though its the first it wont be the last
youre no longer a child so try to grow
learn to move on, forget the past

but give it time enough to heal
give it space enough to breathe
til once more i learn to feel
and the wound has ceased to bleed

today, just live and breathe and smile
free yourself from all the pain
and then soon after a while
give a chance and love again
