Let The Love Begin

by Gloria Velardi   Jan 16, 2006

You've been looking for a love
you don't know where it may come from.
You just want it to be true,
to free your feet from your shoes;

to make you spread your wings and fly away,
reaching for the sun.
You never think you could be waiting in vain,
you're just looking forward the moment it can steal your heart.

What if I told you it was right there in front of your face?
What if I said one day you could make it fade?
You're looking for something you already have, but can't see,
cause you've never gave it a chance to be.

Open up your eyes and take a look at the person who stands in front of you,
be honest, don't you lie. Cause he could be the one you're missing the most.
It's something you got to go through,
don't have to wait anymore, you can be safe, don't feel lost.

Just let the love begin, baby
cause you don't have to prepare yourself for being ready.
Its beauty embraces moments you never expect to come,
the ones you'll remember all your life, the ones that are making you grow smart.
