Silent Treatment!

Silence is Golden, beautiful but hard to arouse
Defined as; A period of time without speech or noise.
Refusal or failure to speak out.
Yes, pushing away anything that is loud of mouth!
The condition or quality of being or keeping still and silent.
Surely preventing a riot!
The absence of sound; stillness.
Yet not preventing illness!

Is this crazy yet beautiful phenomenon really
important?
Does it pay to be silent?
Well that really all depends on the circumstance and
the individual,
Sometimes silence can aid in boosting ones moral.
Other times it can be devastating, cruelly unkind,
Destroying clarity and hearts, yes even mine!

But why give me the silent treatment, How did I sin?
In that case, silent I should have been!
To cause you pain was my last objective just trying to
be heard,
So could you break this chain of silence with a kind
word!
To err is human to forgive divine!
So stop acting like a swing and be mine!
