Game Over

by *Brandi*   Jan 16, 2006

Behind the laughs and all the smiles
Lies a broken and hollow child
She plays this game everyday
Holds her head up and pretends she's ok

She feels so alone, like nobody cares
What would they do if one day she's not there?
Now the pain is too strong to fight
Suddenly she realizes tonight's her last night

She kisses her parents good night on the head
Tomorrow when they wake their child will be dead
Her family and friends will mourn for her loss
Too many caused her pain and this is the cost

She shuts her door and turns off the light
Lights a candle to glow in the night
She grabs a razor out of her drawer
This cut will be worse than any before

She places the razor upon her skin
Takes a deep breath and holds it in
With one quick motion she slits her wrist
The blood from the cut now starts to drip

Now her veins are running dry
Before the end she starts to cry
She hurts so bad, she died alone
Now to a better place she'll go
