Green Eyes

Search deep within yourself,
do you really know me?
I am but a pair of green eyes,
staring deep into your soul,
into your evading gaze,
a veil lies between us,
separating the truth,
do you really understand?
I have concealed but little,
searching deep inside yourself,
am I really but a pair of green eyes?
