Daddy Stop

by Cassandra   Jan 17, 2006

Daddy stop
don't hurt mommy
she means the world to me
Don't punch or smack her
or push her to her knees
im one who sees it
her pain while crying on the floor
while I lay down and tell her "Just hang on mommy, just a day more"
Daddy stop
don't hurt mommy
she is an angel to me
she saved me that one evening
when you came after me
Daddy stop
don't hurt mommy
or pull her by her hair
you don't see her crying
in the shower with despair
Daddy stop
don't hurt mommy
or give her a busted lip
she wants to look beautiful for you daddy
not feel your spit
Daddy look
you killed mommy
you've beaten her to death
I tried to warn you daddy
why did it come to this
she was the only one who loved me
who kept me safe and warm
why wasn't it you who died
now my heart is torn
