This path

I took a decision
A very hard one
I had to heel
To continue living
I tried it all
But nothing has helped
So now I took this path
One on which
I am all alone
One on which
I have nobody around

Today was the first day
And already I feel
How this loneliness
Slowly takes me over

But I have to fight it
I have to be strong
Both for me and for my friends
I will fight on
I well never give in
To the feelings inside
