The Girl and The Angel

by Kristin   Jan 17, 2006

"What is wrong my young child?" asked the angel with a glow.

"I need some help please" replied the girl looking low.

"Can I help with anything?" asked the angel with some hope.

The girl replied sadly, "I just don't think I can cope."

The angel asked another question, "Well what makes you so blue?"

The girl replied again, "My life is so messed up, I need a clue ...

...I've been searching for the meaning, my life is so bare,

What am I to do when all I feel is this depair?"

The angel sat thinking, of what was right to say,

For the angel had nothing to make the girl stay.

The angel grew more gloomy for the angel saw no light,

The girl spoke many words, that were beginning to sound right.

The girl spoke again with a small voice yet so sincere,

"Maybe it's not my life, but all that I fear?

I fear of many things, and maybe others fear too,

For I cannot tell the future, we cannot get a good view.

Thank you so much, you helped me see the truth,

I will no longer live my life, as a troubled youth.

Although I cannot see the future, I can learn from the past,

I will not worry about what is to come, yet I shall have a blast.

Oh thank you angel, you let me see the light,

and that every life is worth living, because everything will be alright."

The girl had a bright smile lite upon her face,

and The angel sat starring smiling with another solved case.

The angel nodded her head and flew away to heaven,

thinking about what this young girl said, when she was only eleven.
