Liar

by Lemon Square Bear23   Jan 18, 2006

you told me you loved me,
and I believed you, but you lied
you said we'd be forever
and now we are severed

you told me I had all your love
and I believed you, but you lied
I gave you what I could in return
now you're just a picture to burn

you told me I was enough
and I believed you, but you lied
it was never about me, I was available
I finally saw you as you were, infallible.

You told me I could trust you
and I believed you, but you lied
I'm glad it's over and I can move on
no more of your lies because I am gone.

I say kill that guy, but hey don't listen to me i believe in the easter bunny. stinkin bunny, running around spreading mischief, laying down hidden multicolored eggs. you know some are forever lost and then they grow rotten and sick.....but i digress, what i meant is good poem
