Song of the Sea

by Bill Turner   Jan 18, 2006

Darkness enveloping all it finds
Cloaking my heart
Binding my soul...
Mocking me...
Forever hiding the light
Eternal night
Making me wonder...
Will I ever break free?
I hear it calling to me...
Screaming my name...
In the darkness I have lost sight
This infernal night
Blocking the light...
Wave upon wave
Calling my name
Scent in the air...
Salt clinging to my hair...
Oh how I long to be free...
Sunlight and ocean spray await me...
As my name drifts on the whispering wind
Sitting and watching the sea...
Waiting for you to join me...
