A Little Girl

by Perfect Little Secret   Jan 7, 2004

Somewhere inside of me
There's a little girl crying
And deep down inside of me
I know that she's dieing
I want to let her run and play
To let her see another day
I thought I'd found my sanctuary
Another fake place
I've got to get her out of me
And find a new face
I'll rip off the old
And find a new
Even in the icy cold
It's what I have to do
The girl shouldn't grow into me
She should never have to see
The pain I've felt within
The lies are growing thin
The anesthetic's growing weak
But through the pain I cannot speak
This little girl is growing old
The little girl has caught a cold
She's sick....
Just like me...
