This Guy

Darkness was once my entire life
So much that I needed the feel of a knife
But now I have changed and grown
I have so much to believe in... my cover has been blown.

I love this guy with all my heart and soul
I feel complete, I feel whole.
He brings a smile to my face
Makes me feel beautiful and not a disgrace

He loves my body... every bit of it
He even loves my obscure wit

He completes my other half
All the while making me laugh
He was the one who reached out for my bleeding hand

He opened my eyes to the unknown world of love

He was the one who gently pushed away the knife
Telling me that without me… there is no life
He would beg, cry, even plead

He is my savior, my angel, my knight, and my friend
Forever with me until the end
