Last Wish.

by Smileandsayfake   Jan 18, 2006

You have been broken,
One million times before.
Shattered glass made you bleed,
But you won't hurt anymore.

He made promises to me,
Ones that I pray he will keep.
He will hold me when I cry,
And hold me while I sleep.

He loves us very much you know,
Oh dear old heart of mine.
Those bruises will fade you know,
Just give them some sweet time.

He knows you are tired and sore,
He said he will be gentle with us.
Can we please give him a chance?
And avoid the hustle and fuss?

I have a feeling he is special,
And he says what he means.
He won't yell or hit us, I promise,
Our happiness we will redeem.

If he goes back on his word,
Then I guess it's back to square one.
He promised his life to us,
With this we could have some fun.

Dear old heart of mine, please,
I wish for this one last chance.
My heart agrees with my mind,
And this last wish it grants.
