Well I\'ve never forgotten you
Like a thorn in my side
A wilted rose I am
My tears in the night
Long for your tender words
But you\'re not here anymore
To take me by the hand

All around me is love
beth and andy
jane and kevin
liam and lan
And it makes me remember
before everything went wrong
how much I loved you
And how you made me feel

Light me up on the inside
But everyone can see
This heart of mine is not broken
But it\'ll never be fixed

They tell me you never forget your first love
