My Fear

by Bill Turner   Jan 19, 2006

They say everyone has a fear
Why must that be?
Heights make me nervous
They do not qualify as my fear
It does not bother me if people are near

Not bothered by tight spaces
Arachnids do not scare me
Neither do most other things
I have seen some scary faces
Been in some frightening places

One fear when the day is through
It rips and tears at my heart
Playing upon my brain
Going through life without you
Not being held and loved like you do

How can that be?
It is a feeling I have inside
Deep within my soul
Your love setting me free
Will you always love me?

Nicely written Bill... A deep and meaningful poem. Life without love, is no life... A fear we all should admit to :)

I think the biggest fear in life ever is "Love"

    We fear being in love
We fear we will never be loved
    We fear giving love
We fear falling in love (again)
And we fear falling out of love

    Wonderfully written ,my friend ......
