Torn apart by hope

It seemed like all was great at first,
it seemed like all was fine,
now my heart seems like it will burst,
not what i had in mind.

its not becuase of what you did,
though you did so much bad,
its cuz of what you didnt bid,
that made me truly sad.

and as i walk this trail of life,
i always seem to fall,
my answer seems to be a knife,
a knife to end it all.

but i know its not worth it,
love is not worth all this pain.
i will not twaste away my life,
for love that will not gain.

im being torn apart by hope,
dead dreams are all i own,
it seems so very hard to cope,
in worlds of the unknown.

i just wanted some love for me,
more hope to feed my heart,
now my heart lies like dead debris,
shattered and torn apart.

i thought maybe you'd care a bit,
but it seems i was wrong.
now i've known i will not make it.
i was dead all along..

you never cared to help me out,
though you heard of my pleas,
now im off on a different route,
above the land and seas...

hope is tearing me limb from limb,
so i'll give up for now,
no more wishes - chances are grim,
to dreams i'll disavow.

i cannot stand it anymore,
my bright eyes are now black,
so goobye to my one "true love"
now there's no turning back...
