People stop and stare,
They say mean things too.
And if you truly care,
There is something you need to do.
I am stronger that most people,
I am able to defend myself.
But you looked deeper,
And you saw me as someone else.
You saw that I have feelings,
And that I am content with me.
I got myself through everything,
I am tougher than I seem.
I got o school each day,
With people who do not like me.
But me is how I am going to stay,
I do not need them to feel complete.
You say you are my friend,
And that you really love me.
But as people talk again and again,
I never hear you say anything.
You sit there with your mouth shut,
You do not stand up for me at all.
That is so messed up,
But I promise I wont fall.
I will hold the tears in,
And I will not fight back.
I wont get as low as them,
Confidence is not what I lack.
I now walk through each day,
By my self and all alone.
I do not care what any one has to say.
I am strong enough that,
I will make it all on my own....
