Now and then

Tears are falling from my eyes
but it doesn't worry you cause I'm the one that cries
every night you'd hold me night
but everyday we would always fight
tell me why cause i don't understand
cause i feel like I'm sinking in quick sand

when you left you didn't come back
it didn't worry you that my life turned black
i have a sole i have a heart
but all of that just fell apart

but that was then and this is now
i found my life but i don't know how
but Ive finally found someone whom i can trust
someone who will never make my heart bust

so I'm writing to say
that when you went away
my life changed a lot
and all of those miserable memories i have forgot
so happy days to you and your wife
and sadly but joyfully thanks for leaving my life.
