Collateral Damage

Collateral Damage

Abandoned by you, my hearts in crimson flames
-while loving your new girl, you know its all in vain

Taunted by your memories, my heart in pain, it weeps
-while laying with her you silently think of me

Whispers of what we could have always dampen my mind
-while you know there’s another like me to ever find

Missing your warmth, and arms around me
-while you’re wondering what all we can have and be

Emotions left unsaid, while both of us need
-but with unspoken truth, this is collateral damage indeed
