People tell me it's horrible

The only way you show affection
Is by buying me expensive gifts.
But someone needs to lead you in the right direction,
Because this concept you can't seem to grip.
To show someone you love them
They must always know you're there.
You can't just show up once in awhile,
And act as if you've always cared.
