Hopeless

I can't believe you're leaving me here,
sad and all alone.
You're moving to a brand new place,
too far away from home.
I don't think you realize,
how sad this makes me feel.
I look back on all the memories,
and I can't believe this is real.
You mean so much to me,
and I hope that soon you'll notice,
without you standing by my side,
my life is simply hopeless.
