Life

Her life is full of wishes
Of one day growing tall
To open her ears
To hear a loved ones call

She also wishes she knew
Who all of you are
She wants so much to love you
But her heart has a big scar

It is the scar of pain
Of all those in her time
I promise I am not lying
Just listen to my rhyme

From her first breath
In this mysterious place
Her life has been
A human made race

She is in a maze
Trying to find her way out not
Not truly trusting anyone
And too scared to shout

As a baby she was abused
By her mother and father too
So little and innocent
There was nothing she could do

So she was placed in foster care
Not feeling any true love
She dreamt of flying away
Like a beautiful white dove

Yes you may laugh
But it is this dream
That covered up her night mares
That made her scream

Because she finally found a family
That did not harm her in sin
But she still felt useless and bad
And that the demons would one day win

As she grew older
She feared her family would go away
Because she felt ugly and weak
And this thought still haunts her today

All those boys who would act like they liked her
And said I love you
Just wanted one thing
And we both know what they wanted to do

So you see
Her life is not all good
She has to take precautions
To help herself every way she should

Because her heart is so fragile
And has been torn already
She just wishes that life
Would slow down and go steady

For her whole life
She has been taught
To think about others before her
But now she is caught

She truly wishes and prays
To find the answers and know
What to say and do
And which way to go

Although she is unaware and very sorry
She must not move too fast
Because she needs to think about herself
And that she is still hurt from her past

And yet she has a friend
Who lives in such pain
She is so amazed
That he managed to stay sane

I will start from his beginning
To help you to see
How this boy survived
And came to be

At the tender age of 4
He would awake to find
A drunk step dad and a
High mother who lost her mind

Quietly he would tip toe
From his room to the bathroom
For if he made the slightest noise
He would come face to face with his doom

Now let me explain
Because you might not understand
That his step dad did more
Than just hold his hand

He would do the unimaginable
With a 4 year old boy
Who was not treated as a human
But as a sexual play toy

By the age of 14
He began to fight
For he could not take it anymore
Knowing this was not right

So the molestation stopped
But the physical abuse began
So this boy being an only child
Left his home and ran

He did not know where to run
He just knew it had to be far away
So his high mom and abusive step dad
Would lose all their say

He did not want them in his life
So he ran to a teen house
He was so quiet and good
That they nicknamed him mouse

He liked this new name
For it removed him more from his past
At age 16 the streets became home
And life started to move real fast.

He was introduced to the devils treats
And he was unable to defy
But the image of his mother
Helped him to outlive that lie

He was pressured by his so called friends
To pick up the gun to commit a sin
But inside he fought this urge
And his soul felt the power to win

So in our personal times of hatred
Some are so quick to blame another
That we do not see that our hand
Was the one that helped kill our own brother

We are so quick to say that our enemies
Are really the curse
But who is to say
That we are not any worse

With all of the pain
And torture in our nation
God made us all equal
During his creation

So why do we pick
On those lower than us
Yea Rosa Parks broke part of it
By sitting in the front of the bus

But black against white
And brown against red
What difference does it make?
In the end we will all still be dead

I tell you now
That they are no worse
Because deep down inside
It is us who are the curse

And it is us, who provide
The bad times and laughter
Weather we live in the dark life
Or live happily ever after

Please comment i am sorry its soo long
