I glance at my heart, waiting to be touched by you
Discouraged by your words, it reminds me of how my love is still new

How hopeful it is, my lonely heart
Quietly waiting for you to start

It seems like you run away, every time I'm near
Are you ever going to say the words I'm waiting to hear?

I know I'm the one you are trying to find
But to my existence you turn blind

Why don't you give 'us' a chance
Can't you see, I'm lost in this trance?

Does life have to go on like this?
You find your perfect match, but he is the one you have to miss

I'll wait till the sun burns out
I'll wait without a doubt
As I know we are meant to be
And someday, my depth of love, you will have to see
