A life's chapter ending (pt 2)

Many people can ask why you choose such a path to take
But when you first take that step, you don’t realise the mistake
But once you have the help and the courage to get through
You’ll be proud of yourself, and people will be happy for you

My new beginning is a blessing a release from this nightmare
I don’t think I’ll ever turn back, I don’t know if I dare
I now fear the blade, the agony I caused on my skin
I have come from this battle with a triumphant win

I don’t want to wake up one day and find I’m out of time
I want to live on the edge and be myself, sing along in rhyme
I’m saying goodbye to one chapter in this life
Along with what I’ve been through, all the strife

This year has had its ups and downs, but I’ve made it through
I’ve feel I have ruined friendships, is this a paranoia or is it true
Every since I came, the pain I think I’ve caused has seemed to grow
I need to know have I messed up as much as I think, please will you show

If I have, I’m sorry for what I’ve done, this is a new year
I have always been up front and outspoken, there qualities I hold dear
I’m holding onto all the memories, that good and the all bad
I believe the past makes us stronger, think of all the fun we’ve had

I will leave you here, and the close the chapter of my life
I’m ready for this new year, my happiness will suffice
2006 is going to rock, It’s going to be the best
2006 is going to beat all the rest!
