Darkness is brighter than light,
silence louder than speech,
tongues sharper than the knife,
we slowly loose the will to fight,
as the world will us teach,
and we are thrown into new strife,
of hopes and dreams we loose sight,
and our defenses slowly breach.
we start to let go of life.
