I felt great empathy for you in reading this poem, it should not be that we feel we must apologise for being who we are, or turn to extremes to escape the pain of living.

I love this poem. it shows that, some people may see others as a burden in their life, yet really, they arent that way but they dont realize this untill they are gone. i have enjoyed all your poems, though they are all sad and dark, i still enjoyed them equally

Simple rhymes, but very powerfull and full of emotion. again using the metaphor of the "forbidden door"
