God Gave his only son

God gave his only son
Just to save our life
He took the whips and bruises
so we wouldn't have to use the knife

He flooded all the earth
and told Noah to build a boat
He proved how lucky we were to be alive
so we wouldn't write the suicide note

Hes made the blind man see
and the deaf man hear
to prove that he was there for us
to prove he was always near

When heard the story of Jesus's death
and how he rose from the grave
all my pain and suffering was gone
because of the only son God gave.
