Supposed to Be

by Autumn   Jan 20, 2006

You left me with a bleeding heart
After you told me we’d never part
The floor was soaked in blood
My tears became a flood
I wished I were nothing
Wished I knew the whole time you were bluffing

Laying on the floor wasting away
I dreamed about what it was supposed to be like today
We were supposed to live happily ever after
With out pain only laughter
It was supposed to be for better or worst
Separated only by the coming of a hearse

Yesterday we were to be wed
But our I dos were never said
We were supposed to be married
Just like the baby was supposed to be born not miscarried

Now I lay in bed
Close to being dead
Remembering the last words you said
I love you is what I bled
