On My Own

by Bill Turner   Jan 20, 2006

I do all right on my own...
Needing no one to get by
However...
Looking into your eyes
Makes me realize...
My house...will never...
Be a home
If I am alone...
A home takes two...
Living, laughing and loving along the way
All of this is to say...
Your kiss...
Your touch...
That little look you give...
Makes me want to live
For so long I wanted to fly...
Live and let die...
So they say...
Taking the moment...
Seizing the day...
Now I live for life
I live for you...
Someday will we become two?
Time will tell...
Where I spend my life...
Can your love un-condemn me from hell?

Great poem! very emotional. it's cute too. it could do without all the "..." too. it'd still be just as strong. maybe a little stronger :) but you have talent. keep it rolling. keep up the good work!
