What is Love??

Just another teenage poem
destroyed by the pain and lust of first love
each tear is another story
about how each kiss was not enough

she couldn't get him to stay
just by saying "i love you"
he wouldn't let her get by
by repeating it on queue

he used her for the worst
letting his anger appear on her face
he had his control of her
and she knew her place

she thought this was it
she had the love of another
but she didn't realize
they were just hurting each other

who could show her
what love is really like
who could hold her in his arms
and show her what is right

now hes beating her to the ground
just another night of pure desire
each scar he creates
is just another thing to admire

but what if it goes too far
and desire is not enough
to make her stay on this earth
and find out how to love
