As I lie awake, under the stars
My eyes light up in wonder
Amazed by all that you have done
Life no longer torn asunder

I praise they name, and I give thanks
For all that I've received
The weight of the world, no longer on me
Restored, forgiven, relieved

I stepped away from all the drugs
Dropped the razor and the bottle
With your will, and the assistance
Of friends and good role models

God, you've granted me something great
Sent me someone, I've fallen in love
