Me against Myself

I think the Title explained most of it... I've used a lot of symbolism in this poem-- so try to understand them...

How can you expect me to stop trying
Find some love... go water your plants, they are dying

You don't know how to live your life
Your mind is drowning in the ocean of strife

So don't try to make me walk your way
I'm waiting to rise and live another day

You're lost in the desert, you don't know where you are going
You look at every picture with a different eye yet you don't know what they are showing

Love to you holds no meaning
Take off your mask, stop pretending

You're lost, face the fact, it's true
No matter how much you smile, your heart is still blue

Walking on this road which has no end
Why are you waiting for your heart to mend?

You give me words, but you don't know what you're saying
You're so unsure, do you want to leave or are you staying?

So don't try to make me walk your way
I'm waiting to rise and live another day

At least I'm not confused like you
You're so tired... Everything is still fresh to me, everything is still new
