Maggie had the best of days
though it's all lost in a haze
she lit up a room with a single smile
and they'd always ask if she'd stay awhile

but Maggie never knew herself
she always lived as someone else
people thought that she was great,
but all she felt for herself was hate

her whole life was just push and shove
she needed someone just to care
someone she knew would always be there

why people care less than they should
she had been through such hard fights
