Don't be like my past.

by Chloe*   Jan 22, 2006

Many tears have fallen before i felt your sweet embrace,
You're the one who made me smile since that painful time i faced,
It still makes me sick just remembering the past,
So i hope to god that what we have will linger on and last.
I've hardly walked 10 steps, but for sure i wont go back,
Because hearing your voice makes me steady on this track,
I hope for this to happen, even though my luck is slim,
My little romantic story, this is how it begins:

The next time we meet, my heart will skip a beat,
You see me in the distance, your smile is so sweet,
We talk and laugh for ages, when silent you take my hand,
"Will you be my girl? If not i understand.."
I look into your eyes, my overflowing nerves,
A simple soft kiss, knowing 'yes' without a word.
We watch the burning sunset, I'm curled up in your arms,
And when the night draws in, my hearts now mended, not harmed.

Will that be my ending? i hope that it comes true,
To get rid of my sadness, all i need is you.
