Tormenting Mind.....

And she lies, sits there and tells you that she is fine,
Her pain is clear if you gaze into her eyes
The suffering with the mention of a name.
Left alone is how she wants to be,
Alone to cry, bleed and drowned in her own tormenting mind.
How can't she see how many people really do care?
Her wrists tell a story of how it used to be
Of one when he could not be there
A new story written in a new place
When he left he took everything from her
Leaving her broken and longing for something more
Her heart still yet to mend though she is moved on
Images of him still fresh in her mind
Thoughts of how she thinks they are.
Nothing can be said to make it better though they try,
Over and over she hears that he doesn't know what he gave up on,
That it's ok to miss the one you really love,
And even though he acts childish every word he once said from what is known was true.
Yes he was madly in love with you,
Yes he would of stayed with you,
But once again she pushed him away,
She went out and played around,
She says she didn't want it to stay any longer.
Then why does she cry?
Why miss him so much?
Why long for his touch and fingers in her hair?
Believing this is love and how it's meant to be.
Everyone she says leaves after 3 meaningful words
Well guess what girl I'm still hear and I will love you long after you die
It will take time and you need to give it that
But I promise you and I'm sure you know, it will get better
The pain stops, memories remain, longings die but love will always stay.
