Lose Yourself....

People always talk,
No matter where you go.
People are so selfish,
By now we all should know.

They say hateful things,
To make themselves feel good.
They do nott care about anyones feelings,
Even though they should.

Do not let their words,
Make you feel low.
You can be upset inside,
But never let it show.

There is one sigh of weakness,
And that is if you cry.
If you choose to do this,
Their mission is accomplished.
They know they did it right.

Be strong and laugh it off,
Do not make it change who you are.
Do not let it get to you,
Make them pick a new mark.

Also one more thing,
Do not get as low as them.
Do not fight back,
But do not give in.

People are going to be mean,
No matter what any of us do.
But do not let them change who you are.
