Deepest thoughts from a broken heart

I sang to her once...
Let the words fill her heart...
To make it feel I wasn't alone...
But she left without saying goodbye...
Now I'm passed out on the floor Drunk and asking why.....
Love deserts me
And Faith is so hard to find ....
Nothing is real or truthful
In this day and time.....
So just give in
And let it all take hold....
Nothing matters anymore to you my dear...
your life sets
while mine can't take a mold...
I can't make it what I want...
So I just fade away
To the silent night....
And pass away quietly
Without your killing light......

    Absolutely love this! My favourite thing about this poem is how it seems to change theme or mood within the lines. Like the first three are really warming and beautiful, the next the opposite, and then I especially love these lines
