Dying for love

The sun may shine
but the rain will fall
A broken girl will die
as heavens angels call

A slashed heart will bleed
as bloody tears poison the eyes
A slow death of memories
A love based upon lies

He helped her grow wings
He taught her how to fly
with him she would smile
the pain she would deny

The rose wilted. The colours faded.
The moon lost its glow
He had robbed her of the magic
So it was time to go

Don't cry for the girl
who was afraid of love
The pain he caused
has returned her to the wonderful world above
