You drive down the road everyday
you never stop to think of what could happen
what could go wrong, weather you will make it home, or in a hospital bed dying.
Now your lying on your death bed asleep
I'm sitting here holding your hand praying you wake up.
The heart monitor's beeping, your head turns you open your eyes you say I love you so much.
Then the heart monitor goes to a long beep.
Nurses run in and shock you nothing happens.
They finally give up and look down at the ground in shame and tell me the horrible news.
I scream out and ask God why you, why now.
You were so young with a whole life ahead of you not knowing it would end so soon.
