Imperfections

by Shannon   Jan 23, 2006

I'm sorry for being so imperfect;
not who you want me to be.
I wish you could just look
deep down and find the real me.

You want more from me than I can give.
So much from me, that it is unbearable to live.

I know that I'm not the right size,
and don't have the perfect smile.
But know that I will never tell lies,
and I'll be around for a while.
