What was I afraid of?

Through the last few years
my life has changed
I fell in love
but I was too afraid.

Though I hated it
I fell for him
and now
I have his name scared in my skin.

I felt so bad
after I ended it all
Because not only did I love him
He loved me too.

Now,
I hate myself
For what I have done
But I still love him
and I can't seem to move on.
